EARLY BIRD MEMBERSHIP For 1.4.25 to 31.3.26

The new membership year will start with the ‘Early Bird‘ membership from TODAY until the 31.03.25.  To take advantage of the Early Bird membership reduction, your form/s must be completed and the money received by the 31st March.

If you submit your membership forms from the 1st April, membership costs will be at Full Price.

Please be aware at this time, Caroline and Frances will be dealing with a vast number of membership forms and enquiries and will process them as quickly as possible. Any queries please email secretary@shltc.info

Team Members please remember you membership needs to be renewed ahead of your first game of the Summer Season.

HOW TO RENEW YOUR MEMBERSHIP

– Membership is renewed through OUR Websitewww.shootershilllawntennisclub.co.uk from the membership page, NOT the Clubspark or LTA website. Clubspark is only for lessons, courts & social bookings!

-If you are already a member you will need to go to the ‘Green’ Section on the membership page, labelled ‘Existing Members’, you already have a username and password. You can reset the password yourself, however, if you have forgotten your user name please email secretary@shltc.info. You will be replied to ASAP but remember it can take a few days, with so many to process at this time.

– New members can join completing the form through the website. You will need to go to the ‘Orange’ Section on the membership page, labelled ‘New Members’

-When completing the form please be aware that if you choose to NOT be on the emailing list you will not be kept updated with all that happens at the club, such as the links to Socials, Monthly American Tournaments or Kids/Adult Courses.  Therefore you will need to check the website/Social media for updates & information.  We only email about tennis club matters and your details would never be shared.

-Once you have completed the form (you must put something in every field) You will receive a confirmation email with BACS details. However the BACS details are in the RED BOX , top right hand corner of the form, so you can make a note of them at that point as well, before you submit the form. (do check your junk emails)

-Once the form and payment is received, Adult Members & 13 and over Children will receive an email to access court booking which you need to follow if your wish to be able to book courts and book onto socials (please check your junk box). This may take a few days in busy periods. All members will receive This Years Coloured Tag and a Welcome Letter which explains what is available at the club. FREE WOMEN & GIRLS ACTIVITIES 22nd MARCH for INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY & WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH
 
Calling all our female members and their family & friends, its not too late to book for our FREE Women’s Activities continuing this weekend hence the Purple decorations at the Clubhouse at the moment! We were very fortunate to have our application for funding from the Kent LTA agreed. Therefore we will be celebrating during the month of March, so don’t forget to wear purple, which is the colour for International Women’s Day.
 
Saturday 22nd from 1-2pm FREE Women & Girls Joint Tennis Session
Don’t forget to book the next FREE session. You don’t have to be mother & daughter, you can be niece & aunt, grandmother & granddaughter, or just family friends. You also don’t have to both be members either, just come and join in some fun tennis activities. Don’t forget to wear something Purple as that’s the official colour on International Women’s Day and non marking trainers. Do then stay for tea and cake.

Sunday 23rd from 2-4pm American Tournament Celebrating Women
Our usual monthly American will Celebrate Women this month. Please wear something Purple and come and celebrate with us. Male members of the club are also welcome but we would really love to see lots of the ladies members attending. Members have already received the link and it will be resent today

Cardio Tennis

A lovely sunny but some what chilly Saturday morning for our first FREE Ladies session of the month. Despite that, a great turn out and some new faces to the club too. There was lots of running about and laughter from all taking part, followed by chatting with tea and cake afterwards.

KENT WINTER LEAGUE FINALS

The two remaining play off’s took place at the weekend. All our teams have really appreciated your support in watching.

Kent Ladies

Our ladies won their play off 3-1 against Park Langley 3 on Saturday. Well done to Tracy Davy, Cate Woodcock, Lauren Esler & Libby Tuson.

Kent Men’s

Our men’s team fought hard, but unfortunately lost 2-2 by a set, against Avenue. The men playing were Rich Fay, Fin Renwick, Fransceso Donadio and Jack Andrews.
