Shooters nominated for Kent Club of the Year!

Results as follows:

Adult Results:

Kent Men’s 2 beat Maidstone LTC 3-1 in their Division 8 play-off final.  Promotion and trophy secured!  Team comprised Dan House (Captain), Francesco Donadio, Bastien Hibon and Mylan Roberts.  Great effort team!  Lovely photo!

Junior Results:

AEGON Boys 14&U beat Bromley Wendover in the semi finals.  Team comprised Mylan Roberts and Richie Davies.  The team will now face Gravesham in the final on Sunday 20th March.  Good luck team and team manager Luke!

Kent Awards 2015:

Shooters Hill LTC won Kent Club of the Year 2015 on Saturday night at the Kent Awards at the Wildernesse Club in Seal, Sevenoaks.  The club took 25 members to help Club Captain Phil Layfield accept the award and didn’t we celebrate!  I believe we were the only ones left at midnight after dancing to Oliver Twist, with our very own member Dave Jenkins on keyboard and vocals.  What a night!  Unfortunately the club didn’t win the two other awards it was nominated for.  Cameron Beresford-Allan lost out in the Young Volunteer Award and yours truly narrowly lost Coach of the Year award.  The winners of both awards were thoroughly deserving of them.  Thanks to all the members who attended the evening.  It was great to see (and hear) our very own John Ratcliffe helping out on the evening (whatever next?!) and be able to support a great annual event.  I hope you like the photo!

Please note, there is still time to sign up for our American Tournament taking place on Easter Sunday.  27th March 2-4pm.

All membership renewal forms have been sent out.  Please note, if you get them in before the 1st April you can save money!

Finally, I think you’ll all agree the new entrance and viewing area is looking good!  I hope it hasn’t caused too much disruption to you all.  Hopefully the project will be completed in time for our club tournaments coming up.
