Snow Snow Snow ….. The courts are definitely covered in snow today and out of action. Whilst looking pretty, it’s not exactly tennis playing weather! So please do stay in contact with Tom and the coaching team if you have lessons/group sessions booked in the next few days, as more snow is forecast for later today. This weather is due to be with us until at least Thursday so the forecast states!!

Looks like at least one team this week had to work hard to clear the courts before they could play their match, good work ladies. We seem to be starting quite a competition for best team photo this week, awesome photographic work teams, thank you! Seems a few matches were called of this weeks to the frost and ice

Most junior games were cancelled this weekend, we will let you know when they are re-scheduled. However one went ahead, well done to our hardy U10’s who braved this weather.

U10 Boys vs Old Wilsonians. Well played Henry & Finn, who won 3-1, awesome result, we are so proud of you both.

Mid Week Vets  lost to vs Park Langley 1, 1.5 – 2.5, Galiantly played Maria Perfect & Mathew Perfect and Gail Youd & Tony Millard.

Mens 1 vs Bromely LTC1 called off due to the adverse weather conditions.

Mens 3 vs Bexley 3 was called of due to adverse weather, its been re-scheduled for 15th January at 13.30.

Ladies 1 lost to  Sundridge Park 2 in really quite freezing conditions, the hardy team were Maria Perfect, Karen Attard, Diana Roberts & Ros McKeown.

Ladies 2 beat a strong Park Langley Team 3-1. Awesome picture of the ladies, who had to help clear the court of frost/ice before they could play. Well done Gail Youd, Oksana Boklag, Sandra Woodcock & Ruthie Frost. The team also had a slightly frozen cheer squad watching, thanks Jo, Julie & Marion. Loving this teams photos each week, thank you ladies.

Over 60’s Men beat Hildenborough 3-1. Amazing results for this ‘Silver’ Tennis team (their name for the team it seems), marching on Undefeated. Well done Greg Gadd, Jon Beaumont, Hessam Khoshnevisan & Rob Thomas. Thanks for the fab photo.
