Hi All

Court Cleaning:  As you have probably seen the courts are being cleaned this week in preparation for the summer fixtures.  They will all be completed by Friday night for club play.  Thank you for your patience this week.

Summer Fixtures:  Well done to our fixture secretary, Veronica McNamee, for organising all the adult and junior summer fixtures. There are quite a lot!  Please see the fixtures up inside the clubhouse or on the website.  Good luck to all captains and members who represent the club over the summer months.  Here’s to more success to follow on from the winter.

North Kent Men’s 2 Captain:  Congratulations to Phil Smith who was voted as our new NK Men’s 2 captain for the summer.  If you are interested in playing for this team, please contact Phil.

Kent Awards 2016:  The club was very successful on Saturday night at The Wildernesse Club in Seal, Sevenoaks.  We picked up both awards we were nominated in!  Well done to club secretary, Caroline Ratcliffe who won Kent Volunteer of the Year for the second time!  Congratulations also to Ulysse Abbate who won Kent Young Leader of the Year.  The club have now won 3 of these awards, which just goes to show the benefit of growing your own coaches!  Both awards were thoroughly deserved and it was a wonderful evening showcasing the talent within Kent tennis.  A special mention to Dave Jenkins and his band, Oliver Twist, who got everyone on the dance floor all night!  I hope you like the photo!

American Tournament:  Please note, there are still spaces left for this monthly fun doubles tournament on Sunday 26th March 2-4pm. Please use the sign up sheet inside the clubhouse.  A minimum of 12 members are required for the tournament to go ahead.

Quiz Night:  Please note, our next quiz is almost full!  The return of quiz master Gill Moore is bringing people in!  Friday 31st March from 7pm.  Please use the sign up sheet inside the clubhouse. Please note, teams can bring their own nibbles, but are expected to use the club bar!
