Ladies and Men’s singles
A very successful Ladies and Men’s Singles Tournament took place yesterday despite the early morning weather with 4 ladies and 25 men taking part. The following will go on the battle it out on Finals Day on the 24th July.
Ladies Main draw – Ros McKeown V Marion Tourral- Hopkins
Ladies Plate – Ruthie Frost v Yanina Kucherenko
Men’s Main draw – Richard Fay v Gregorie Lucas
Men’s Plate – Rob Thomas v Seb Creighton
Well done to everyone who took part and good luck to the finalists.
We are hoping to have everyone to our finals day on Saturday 24th July but we will inform everyone when we get confirmation from the government.

Ladies 1 lost to Blackheath 1 – the team was Maria Perfect, Ros McKeown, Ruthie Frost and Gail Youd
Mid week men’s vets over 60 lost to Crescent the team was Rob Thomas, John Payne, John Beaumont and Dave Jenkins
Mid week vets 1 lost to Park langley 1 – the team was Maria Perfect, Matthew Perfect, Karen Attard and Tony Millard
Men’s 1 lost to Park Langley 1 – the team was Rob Ratcliffe, Gregoire Lucas, Mark Sisson, Max Saunders Avi Ben Margi and Jan Are Mo
Mixed 1 beat Meopham 1 the team was Max Saunders, Mark Sisson, Iain Goosey, Maria Perfect, Simone Korsgaard- Jensen and Oksana Boklag
Kent League
Men’s 2 lost to Bromley LTC 3 the team was Jack Andrews, Francesco Donadio, Ricardo Pinheiro and Tony Millard.
Ladies lost to Gravesham 2 the team was Sandra Woodcock, Gail Youd, Lasyk Grice and Judi Fielding.
National League
U18 Girls lost to David Lloyd Dartford the players were Thalia Remice and Marta Powell
U12 boys lost to Sundridge Park the players were Lucas Ferreira-Smith and Daniel Duts
Well done to everyone who played and represented the club.
The clubhouse will remain closed until further notice except for access to the toilet and to put money in the lights. We are looking forward to re-opening the clubhouse at a later date with COVID secure restrictions, but for the moment it will remain as it was in Step 2 of the Government Roadmap restrictions. Regarding refreshments following matches, captains will discuss with their teams. COVID restrictions are on homepage of website.
Spectating is now permitted and the limit is subject to COVID -19 secure capacity of our venue. We ask that members / parents adhere to the Government social distancing rules and the rule of 30 outside.
To be able to access the booking system, social play and the coaching programme from 1.4.21 you must be a member for season 2021-22. Membership is done online through the club website www.shooterhilllawntennisclub.co.uk. Members may bring visitors which they book and pay for through booking. You can only bring the same guest 3 times and then they must join. Membership is NOT done through Clubspark. Please email me if you are having problems. secretary@shltc.info

All adult members will be sent links to social play.( it is the same each week) If you need to cancel, please contact. Jan Mo on janaremo@yahoo.no It is essential that if you book you turn up on time as these sessions are extremely popular amongst the members. Only members can book social.
