INTERNAL DOUBLES – CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES 31ST MAY
The closing date for entries is this Sunday the 31st May. As its being administered through the LTA portal, this is a hard entry date, no late entries can be accepted. So please get you partners ready, there is still time to enter this week. Make sure you both enter. You must be available all day as well as the club finals on Sunday 19th July. TUESDAY 2ND JUNE 7.30 PM IN THE CLUB HOUSE – JUNIOR PARENTS NIGHT
We are very pleased to announce that Dr Michelle Clubb an expert in practical sport psychology will be giving a 30minute talk followed by questions on how you can support your child on their tennis journey. We will also outline the player pathway to be successful in the world of tennis. An invite will go out to all juniors/parenrs so pleae sign up so we have an idea of numbers. SOCIAL COMMITTEE’s NEXT EVENT- ENGLAND MATCH Wednesday 17th June
This week you will start to see information for the next event being arranged by the Social Committee. We hope lots of us can join us to cheer on the England Football Team, a little different from Tennis we know.
NK CUP MATCHES
Good Luck to all our NK Cup teams in their up coming matches. If you have a bit of free time, they would all appreciate a cheer squad, so please do go along and support them if you can.
Girl’s Juniors – Anna Putman won against Bexley 6-2, 6-1. Well done Anna.
Ladies Vets Doubles Well done Maria Perfect and Kate Hands who took on and beat Catford Wanderers last Monday. They progress through to the next round.
Ladies Singles Romane Pepion won against Sundridge Park, 6-3, 6-4. Well done Romane, onto the next round.
Ladies Doubles vs Oakwood Away on Thursday 4th June. Good Luck to Ros McKeown and Lauren Esler.
Mixed Doubles vs Bexley has been moved and will now take place on Wednesday 3rd June at 7pm away. Olivia Flynn and Tom Warburton will be representing Shooters.
LED LIGHT INSTALLATION – STARTING 29TH JUNE
We have been advised by the lighting company that we are in the schedule for week commencing Monday 29th June. Members must bear with us as 2 courts will need closing at a time. Matches and the coaching programme will take preference. Fingers crossed for good weather weather.

KENT
Ladies 1beat Broadstairs 1 at Home in extremely hot conditions 3-1. The team playing in the heat were Ruthie Frost, Gail Youd, Marion Tourral Hopkins and Libby Tuson. Fab picture of the Ladies and Men’s teams.
Men’s 4 beat Broadstairs 3 at Home, on sets, as it was 2-2 on rubbers, but 6-4 on sets. Well done to Neal Tuson, Aaron Ruby, Tony Millard and Paul Powell. Fab picture of the Ladies and Men’s teams.
Men’s 2 won against Tunbridge Wells 3 at Home by 3 games. Very tight match. The successful team were Will Leney, Alex Todd, Mark Plonka and Jack Andrews.
NORTH KENT
Ladies 2 beat Meopham 1 at Home by 6-2. Tough opposition and very tough conditions in this heat. Well done ladies, I forgive you for no photos as I bet you were all melting. The team were Charmaine Ooi, Lauren Esler, Romane Pepion and Di Roberts.
Mid Week Mixed Vets 2 beat Wickham Park 2, by a huge 8-0. Well played. The team were Gail Youd, Jo Thomas, Neal Tuson and Aaron Ruby.
