Phil layfield, Head Coach

Phil Layfield is in charge of organising a team of 3 full time coaches, 3 part time coaches and a team of 10+ tennis leaders to level 1 coaches to help deliver an extensive junior and adult coaching programme to members of the club. Phil runs the weekly junior competitions held on Friday evenings, as well as any held during the school holidays. Phil and his team help organise all the junior teams (8&U – 18&U) in the local Team Tennis Kent leagues.

Phil also organises the coaching team to run the annual club tournaments and finals day as well as our monthly adult American Tournament (fun adult doubles). Phil also helps to organise any LTA initiatives from GBTW’s to Tennis 4 Kids. On top of this Phil runs the yearly 14&U Boys and Girls Road to Wimbledon, as well as the Quorn Family Cup.
