Health and Safety policy 2025/26
This policy sets out the way the club works with all its members and what they can expect from within the environment at Shooters Hill tennis Club
Shooters Hill Lawn Tennis Club is here to provide social and competitive tennis opportunities for adults and juniors of all standards and is inclusive to all members of the local community.
Shooters Hill LTC is committed to ensuring the safety and welfare of all its member’s visitors and guests. It operates within The National Bodies Chartered Standard.
The Shooters Hill Board undertakes to discuss Health and Safety at monthly board meetings with one of the Directors having specific responsibility for this, ensuring risk assessments are reviewed annually. A full health and safety risk assessment is completed annually by the club when it completes it’s registration with the LTA.
The Premises Director has responsibility to ensure that the environment of Shooters Hill is safe and that hazards identified from risk assessments, are eliminated or controlled.
As part of National Bodies accreditation, an annual review of Health and Safety Policy and implementation of procedures take place ensuring that all Safety and First Aid equipment is functional allowing the work force to carry out the operations of the club in a safe and hazard free environment
