Sadly we had to say farewell to Coach Yonas who is off to new adventures. We wish him luck and thank him for all his hard work at the Tennis Club. John made a small presentation to Yonas on Thursday on behalf of the club
PRO RATA MEMBERSHIP
September Pro Rata Membership Rate for the remainder of the membership year (31st March 2026). Juniors who joined in the Summer Camps and now want to take lessons during term time, please remember you need to become a member. You can take advantage of the Pro Rata Rate.
Completing membership forms has now got easier and I am pleased to report new memberships are coming in. We have had the website improved so you now pay at the same time you complete your form. There may be some teething problems but if so please email secretary@shltc.info so they can be addressed.
WINTER TEAM RESULTS
The Winter Leagues 2025/26 kicked off last week. Good Luck to all our Teams.
Kent
Ladies 1 had a great start to the season with a 4-0 win over Bromley Wendover 3 at Home. The team playing were Ruthie Frost, Di Roberts, Gail Youd and Tracy Davy.
North Kent
Mixed Kent had quite a battle against Blackheath 3 at Home on Saturday. They were 2-0 down, but came back to finish level at 2-2. The team playing were Ros McKeown, James, McKeown, Ruthie Frost and Rob Thomas. Thanks for the photo.
Ladies 3 drew against Bromley LTC 3 Away on Saturday. The team playing were Alison Farrington, Jo Thomas, Lasyk Grice and Marion Tourral-Hopkins. Thanks for the photo ladies.
Men’s 4 had a tough match against Bromley LTC 1 at Home on Saturday sadly losing 4-0. Team playing were Jason Barkworth, Iain Goosey, Chib Ejiegbu and Tony Millard.
Men’s 5 drew against Bromley Wendover 6 at Home on Sunday. The team playing were Aaron Ruby, Stephen Collins, James McKeown and Rob Thomas.
