FULL MEMBERSHIP
Early Bird Membership is now closed, on the closing day of the Earlybird, Caroline & Frances processed over 130 memberships on that one day! Nothing like leaving it till the last minute!!!!! Those memberships processed on last day should now have their court booking permissions restored.
Juniors you must renew your membership if you wish to book onto next terms classes after Easter.
Team members don’t forget to renew your membership before your first game of the Summer Season!

EASTER SUNDAY 5TH APRIL AMERICAN TOURNAMENT
It was a great day for an American attended by 15 members. Jan Are Mo was the winner with a breathtaking final 2 rounds scoring 14 points. Joanne McCloud received the special award for being the only lady taking part. Great to see so many new members there. John R ran a very smooth competition and hot cross bun, tea and a pint were enjoyed by many. Hope you like the picture of all the competitors.
INTERNAL MIXED DOUBLES
The internal competition is all day on Sunday 3rd May. Please find yourself a partner so you can book when the link goes out shortly. To enter you must be available all day and on Finals day Sunday 19th July.
JUNIOR EASTER HOLIDAY PROGRAMME
You can still book onto the 2nd week of the Junior Easter Programme. As usual you can book just one day, or all available, days run from 10am – 3pm. Open to all levels aged 7-13 years. Other family members and friends can join in the school holiday sessions, so its a great way to try out the sport and the club before deciding if you wish to join as a full member. Don’t forget to send your Juniors with refillable water bottles, lots of layers including water proof ones and plenty of food and snacks (just not nuts please in case anyone has an allergy). April till July- VETS DOUBLES 55+ COMPETITION
Last week an e-mail was sent out by the fixtures secretary (Jo Thomas) to all those 55+ If you wish to enter this years competition, please refer to Jo’s email for the link to the competition. You will need to register and pay the fee of £10 per player by Friday 10th April. You then need to e-mail Jo Thomas on fixtures@shltc.info with the name of your partner. The draw will then be made after this date. Paricipants will need to arrange their own matches with the opposition, provide their own tennis balls and book the courts. Fast 4 rules apply. The final will then take place on club finals day, Sunday 19th July. For the links to enter, please see Jo’s email.
LED LIGHTS ON COURTS 3-6 – UPDATE
This process is still on going and sadly won’t be done in early April as originally planned. We have now displayed the paperwork again regarding the planning as instructed by the Council. Fingers crossed we are edging towards good news we hope. We have now been advised by the lighting company that we are in the schedule for June/July, subject to final signing off by Greenwich’s planning department.
