LED LIGHTS ON COURTS 3-6 – April we hope
We have now been advised that April has been scheduled for new LED lights on 3-6, subject to final signing off by Greenwich’s planning department.
SUNDAY JUNIOR COMPETITIONS
On Sunday afternoon it was the finals of the current competition cycle. Many juniors turn up regularly and it was a great atmosphere with parents and juniors enjoying a meal and being together. FAREWELL TO OUR DIRECTORS
On Friday we had a meal to say thank you to 2 directors who left the board in November. Our thanks go to Sandra Woodcock and Jason Sigba who helped on the board over the many years each served. Hope you like the picture

Don’t forget that family and friends who aren’t yet members can book the school holiday camps, its a great way to try out the sport and the club. You can book just one day or all of them. ADULT PRESENTATION EVENING – SATURDAY 28TH FEBRUARY 2026
ONE WEEK LEFT TO BOOK for the club presentation evening, Its being held at Shooters Hill Golf Club, arrival at 7pm for a 7.30pm meal. Price per person is the same as last year £35. The guest speaker is Ola Obaro an LTA Independent Councillor & Head of Strategic Projects of World Rugby. Junior presentation invitations have been sent to all the award winners at the weekend. Presentation will start at 6pm. Our special guest speaker for the night is going to present the Junior Awards.

Men’s 1 lost 1-3 to Bexley 1 Away in the final match of the Winter Season. The team playing were Tom Warburton, Fin Renwick, Will Leney and Francesco Donadio. Thanks for the great photo.

Mixed 2 vs Herne Bay 2 Away – Postponed due to the torrential rain!
Ladies 1 beat Park Langley 3 at Home, 4 – 0. That makes 3 wins out of 3 so far, with one more match to play. The team playing were Libby Tuson, Cate Woodcock, Ellie Fry, and Carol Young.
Men’s 2 were narrowly defeated by Sydenham 3 at Home. It was 2-2 on rubbers but 4-5 on sets, all matches were very close and there were 3 tie breaks too. The team playing were Mark Plonka, Jan Are Mo, Jason Barkworth and Alex Todd.
