INTERNAL DOUBLES  SUNDAY JUNE 7TH -all day

Please get you partners ready to enter the doubles day on first Sunday in June, all day. The link was emailed out last week. Entry is through the LTA portal so the closing date of Sunday 31st May will be final.  You must also be available for the club finals on Sunday 19th July. SOCIAL COMMITTEE’s NEXT EVENT- ENGLAND MATCH Wednesday 17th June

This week you will start to see information for the next event being arranged by the Social Committee. We hope lots of us can join us to cheer on the England Football Team, a little different from Tennis we know.

NK CUP MATCHES

Good Luck to all our NK Cup teams in their up coming matches. If you have a bit of free time, they would all appreciate a cheer squad, so please do go along and support them if you can.

Ladies Vets Doubles Will see Maria Perfect and Kate Hands take on Catford Wanderers away 6.45pm tonight.

Mixed Doubles vs Bexley will take place this Wednesday 20th May at 7pm away. Olivia Flynn and Tom Warburton will be representing Shooters.

Ladies Singles Good Luck to Romane Pepion who will represent Shooters Hill this Saturday 23rd May at 5pm, at home.

Ladies Doubles vs Oakwood Away on Thursday 4th June. Good Luck to Ros McKeown and Lauren Esler.

FAMILY SATURDAY NIGHT SOCIAL TENNIS

Don’t forget the new Family Saturday Social Play Sessions from 18:30 – 20:30 each week. Using courts 1 and 2. Open to juniors 11+ (secondary school age) playing with yellow balls. This is a great opportunity for families to enjoy some relaxed, social tennis together. For further information see the Family Social Play Tennis email sent out on Mondays, with the link to book.

LED LIGHTS ON COURTS 3-6 – Yay SUCCESS at Last

Celebrating the Good News, the Council have agreed the planning permission for the New Lights! We have been advised by the lighting company that we are in the schedule for week commencing Monday 29th June. Members must bear with us as 2 courts will need closing at a time. Matches and the coaching programme will take preference. Let’s hope for fine weather.

SUMMER  TEAM RESULTS

KENT

Men’s 3 had a 4-0 win over Goudhurst on Saturday. The team playing were Ben Crick, Chib E, Paul Powell and Jason Barkworth.

Mixed 2 beat Bexley 2 by 3-1 on Sunday. Big thanks to Oksana who stepped in at the last minute. Also playing were Rob Thomas, Jo Thomas and James McKeown.

Men’s 2 lost to Beckenham on Sunday. The team playing were Mark Plonka, Jan Are Mo, Francesco Donadio and Jack Andrews.

NORTH KENT

Ladies 2 beat Sundridge Park 3 away 8-0. It was a very cold night, especially for the cheer squad. The team playing were Lauren Esler, Romane Pepion,Oksana Boklag & Di Roberts. Thanks for the photos Ladies.

Mid Week Vets 1 lost to Park Langley, however only the first round was played due to such bad weather. The team playing were Cate Woodcock, Diana Roberts, Jan Are Mo & Tony Millard.

Mixed 1 beat Blackheath 10-2. The team playing was Greg Gadd & Charmaine Ooi, Tom Warburton & Romane Pepion and Jason Barkworth & Lauren Esler.
