TUESDAY 2ND JUNE 7.30 PM IN THE CLUB HOUSE – JUNIOR PARENTS NIGHT

We are very pleased to announce that Dr Michelle Clubb an expert in practical sport psychology will be giving a 30 minute talk followed by questions on how you can support your child on their tennis journey. She will also outline the player pathway to be successful in the world of tennis. An invite has gone out to all juniors/parents/members so please sign up so we have an idea of numbers. Hope to see you there for this very informative evening.

NK CUP MATCHES

Good Luck to our two NK Cup teams in their up coming matches. If you have a bit of free time, they would all appreciate a cheer squad, so please do go along and support them if you can.

Ladies Doubles vs Oakwood Away on Thursday 4th June. Good Luck to Ros McKeown and Lauren Esler.

Mixed Doubles vs Bexley has been moved and will now take place on Wednesday 3rd June at 7pm away. Olivia Flynn and Tom Warburton will be representing Shooters.

SOCIAL COMMITTEE’S NEXT EVENT- ENGLAND MATCH Wednesday 17th June

Please join us on the 17th June from 8.15pm for Footie, Pies and Snacks and lots of cheering.  A little different from Tennis we know but we hope lots of you can join us on cheering the England Team.

LED LIGHT INSTALLATION – STARTING Week of 29TH June

We have been advised by the lighting company that we are in the schedule for week commencing Monday 29th June. Members must bear with us as 2 courts will need closing at a time. Matches and the coaching programme will take preference. Fingers crossed for good weather weather.

COURTS 1 AND 2 MAINTENCE DAY – 9th June

Courts 1 and 2 will be closed on Tuesday 9th June from 7am to 4pm for the yearly service of the Tiger Turf.

SUMMER  TEAM RESULTS

KENT

Men’s 3 won 3-1 Away against Hayes 2. That makes it 4 wins in 4 with 1 match to go. The team playing were Jiggs Sahota, Alex P, Abel Coolen and Jason Barkworth.

Mixed 2 beat David Lloyd Kings Hill 5 Away in very hot conditions. The team playing were Jan Are Mo, Di Roberts, Neal Tuson and Libby Tuson.

NORTH KENT

Men’s 2 won 11-1 against Oakwood at Home on Tuesday evening in glorious, if not a bit hot sunshine. The team playing was Will Leney, Sam Morgan, Spencer Smyth, Jason Backworth, Jan Are Mo and Jack Rowland. Thanks for the photo gents.

Ladies 1 won against Sundridge Park 2 at Home. The team playing were Maria Perfect, Olivia Flynn, Lauren Esler and Charmaine Ooi.

NATIONAL LEAGUE

Men’s A lost to Blackheath 1 Away against a very strong team. We were unlucky to loose two tie breaks. The team playing were Rich Fay, Mylan Roberts, Sam Morgan and Nick Leach.

Men’s B lost 1-5 to Sundridge Park 1 at Home. The team playing were Will Leney, Alex Todd, Francesco Donadio and Jason Barkworth.

Ladies 1 lost to Avenue 1 at Home. However on percentage they have won the division overall. Well done to Maria Perfect, Kate Hands, Olivia Flynn, Lauren Esler, Romane Pepion and Charmaine Ooi
