Our head Coach Tom and his girlfriend Hanna ran the London Marathon on Sunday for Dementia UK. Tom finished in 4 hours & 3 minutes and Hanna wasn’t far behind at 4 hours & 16 minutes, how awesome from both of you, well done. There is still time to donate should to their chosen cause should you wish, the link to their page is

Seems the only game play happening on Sunday was doubles for the ducks! Thanks for the Photo Rob, a great photo. We did check, they have paid up their membership for the year, but won’t be playing in Next Weeks Mixed Tournament.

All courts are booked for the competition from 9am to 6pm. Do come and watch if you can. The bar will be open. Competitors will receive further information about the day from the referee later this week.

It was our privilege at SHLTC to have met Louise Wood. Louise was amazing, with a no nonsense attitude, a kindness composed of wisdom and a happy disposition that emitted from grace and goodness. Louise was one of the most amazing people who less than a year ago developed an aggressive cancer, and died peacefully at the Bexley and Greenwich hospice on 15.4.23

There will be a Memorial American on 1st May 2 – 4pm and her daughters will be presenting the trophy. An invite will go out to all members with a link to book.

The rest of the outdoor table and chairs arrived last week, ready for the Mixed Doubles this coming weekend. So fingers crossed the weather is better and we can try it all out!

Don’t forget, if you wish to book for next terms coaching courses, please ensure your child’s membership has been renewed and paid before the next term starts. If new, memberships must be done. All children in the coaching programme MUST be members due to safeguarding. If you have any questions do ring the secretary on 07940562271 or email secretary@shltc.info

We have processed a huge number of memberships over the last MONTH, thank you to everyone for your patience.  We are still processing a vast number of forms per day and will be for another couple of weeks of April, so please do continue to bear with us.  Do check your ‘spam’ folder if you didn’t receive the e-mail regarding renewing your membership. IF YOU HAVE FILLED YOUR FORM IN, YOU NEED TO COMPLETE PAYMENT TO COMPLETE YOUR RENEWAL. New members can join through the membership page on the website: www.shootershilllawntennis.co.uk

– Membership is renewed through our website on membership page, NOT the Club spark website that is for court & social bookings!

-If already a member you will already have a user name and password. You can reset the password yourself, however if you have forgotten your user name please email secretary@shltc.info. You will be replied to ASAP but remember it can take a few days, with so many to process at this time. New members can join completing the form through the website.

-When completing the form please be aware that if you choose to NOT be on the emailing list you will not be kept updated with all that happens at the club, such as The Socials & Kids Courses.  Therefore you will need to check the website regularly for the weekly news.  We only email about tennis club matters and your details would never be shared.

-Once you have completed the form (you must put something in every field) You will receive a confirmation email with BACS details. However the BACS details are in the RED BOX , top right hand corner of the form, so you can make a note of them at that point as well, before you submit the form.

-Once the form and payment is received, Adult Members &  Over 13 Year Old Children will receive an email to access court booking,  which you need to follow if your wish to be able to book courts and book onto socials (please check your junk box). This may take a few days in busy periods. All members will receive This Years Coloured Tag and a Welcome Letter which explains what is available at the club
