As stated in last week’s update all 6 courts are now fully open for booking. Apologies if people have had a few problems last week but we were setting up Clubspark for the changes. Please let me know if you are having problems booking (firstname.lastname@example.org) or contact Clubspark themselves by asking a question re help and giving your number. They will ring back and will be quicker .
We ask that club members continue to be respectful of social distancing measures. This includes keeping the recommended safe distance at all times and allowing court users to exit and enter courts without coming into contact with each other.
Unfortunately the club house will remain closed unless there is a medical emergency (The AED/Defibrillator and First aid kit are located within the club house).
Thank you for all the people who have entered the club championship. A total of 91 individual members are taking part.
2020 Club Championship
The draw has now taken place for the annual Men’s & Women’s Singles and Doubles and Mixed Doubles Club Championships. Emails have gone out and please note any enquiries or queries MUST go to the following email email@example.com
We have enabled parent members’ to access the booking system. Parents must join as must their children and they can book courts 9 am -3.30 pm Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and Sunday 4-7pm
The club is reintroducing some coaching sessions and introducing an LTA approved coaching programme for beginners.
Tennis Xpress will start 11 July 2020 and is open Members and Non Members. Go to LTA Rally to book the course
Ladies coaching will start this Friday with 2 sessions from 10-11 and 11-12. The coaching programme is being run by the club so any queries please email firstname.lastname@example.org. All places have now gone.
Wednesday morning coaching (10–11am) starts this week and be open to ladies and men of all levels. This will be set as an adult group coaching group. If interested please book your spot through the club’s Clubspark account. Again if any queries email email@example.com NOT phil.
The coaching programme is also offering single and shared private lessons (this includes siblings, partners/couples from the same household as well as junior and adults members from different households). Furthermore, adult members can access “U3 and Me” which involves 3 members from the same or different households with 1 coach. Everyone must be a member to receive coaching. Please contact Head Coach Phil Layfield on 07815 927767 or email firstname.lastname@example.org so he can help arrange these lessons with the coaching team.
Box Leagues – The box leagues have been a huge success with club members of all levels competing and getting try the new FAST4 format. The box leagues will continue year round and this first stage will end 16 August.
For members who are interested in joining please let the club secretary know you are interested in playing. A total of 6 members are needed to form a new group and until this is met we are unable to start a new group

We are allowing members to bring guests £5 (no more than 3 times and then they must join) This is in club rules
Members can book a court and include the name of the member, paying the £5 when booking
Go to booking page
Choose you time and add participants name. Save and then an arrow will appear by the guests name.
Choose non member and then click continue booking
Payment details appear and you pay for the visitor. Just click confirm and pay and you can pay by credit card. The Directors will monitor this carefully and review at out next meeting
