FINALS DAY SATURDAY 22nd JULY
The club’s internal competition is on Saturday 22nd with all the finalists playing their matches starting at 10am. All finalists will be sent the order of play. We do hope as many members, juniors and adults will come to watch as it usually a great day. The bar will be open.
WIMBLEDON FORTNIGHT
We hope everyone enjoyed the Wimbledon Finals over the weekend, our teams certainly battled similar weather and also had some hard fought battles as well. so don’t forget to check out this weeks results

With School holidays fast approaching, don’t forget to book our popular Kids Summer camp sessions which is running for 5 weeks over the summer holidays. First day is next Monday 24th July, there are two age groups so please make sure you book the right one.
9am-10am – 4-8 Year Olds
10am-3pm – 8-13 Year Olds
You can pick and choose any days throughout the 5 weeks that fit in around your other summer plans! Don’t forget if you have another family member or your child’s friends that want to attend the Summer Camps, they are very welcome to do so.

Congratulations to Maria Perfect who made her Kent debut this weekend, playing against Essex. The team won, what a great debut, well done Maria.

NORTH KENT
Mixed 1 lost to Crescent 1 this week. The team were Maria Perfect, Rich Fay, Max Fenton, Ashling Carroll, Oksana Boklag & Iain Goosey
Ladies 1 drew with Bexley 1, well played Maria Perfect, Karen Attard, Ros McKeown and Diana Roberts.
Ladies 1 also played against Meopham 1 this week, sadly loosing, but well done ladies especially those that played both matches this week that’s a lot to fit in. The team playing were Diana Roberts, Ros McKeown, Ashling Carroll & Oksana Boklag.
Over 60’s vs Park Langley 2. A magnificent effort by John Fielding, Jon Beaumount, Hessam Khoshnevisan & Rob Thomas achieving their first win of the season 2.5-1.5, well done team.( hope y0u like the photo)

Men’s 3 vs Walmer 2 didn’t go ahead due to the crazy weather conditions we seem to be having, will be re-scheduled!
Ladies lost to Kingshill Community by 4 games, a really close game. The team were Judi Fielding, Ellie Fry, Carol Young and Alberta Bosca.
Men’s 2 beat Canterbury 5, 2-2, 40 games to 39, what a game guys, incredible, well played Jack Andrews, Mark Plonka, Tim Morgan & Thomas Annable.

-If already a member you will already have a user name and password. You can reset the password yourself, however if you have forgotten your user name please email secretary@shltc.info. You will be replied to ASAP but remember it can take a few days, with so many to process at this time. New members can join completing the form through the website.
-When completing the form please be aware that if you choose to NOT be on the emailing list you will not be kept updated with all that happens at the club, such as The Socials & Kids Courses. Therefore you will need to check the website regularly for the weekly news. We only email about tennis club matters and your details would never be shared.
-Once you have completed the form (you must put something in every field) You will receive a confirmation email with BACS details. However the BACS details are in the RED BOX , top right hand corner of the form, so you can make a note of them at that point as well, before you submit the form.
-Once the form and payment is received, Adult Members & Over 13 Year Old Children will receive an email to access court booking, which you need to follow if your wish to be able to book courts and book onto socials (please check your junk box). This may take a few days in busy periods. All members will receive This Years Coloured Tag and a Welcome Letter which explains what is available at the club
