🎄 JUNIOR CHRISTMAS PARTY

Father Christmas has informed us he very much enjoyed visiting our Tennis Club on Saturday and meeting lots of our Juniors. There were party games being played, presents given out and the parents weren’t left out they got to enjoy some mulled wine and mince pies too. We hope everyone enjoyed the party.

ADULT CHRISTMAS SOCIAL

Wednesday’s social this week will have a Christmas Theme. By popular request Christmas jumpers are to be worn, although you might need a Christmas Hat as well as the forecast is a little chilly! We hope to see you there wearing your best Christmas Jumper. 🎄🎅

BOXING DAY AMERICAN

As is the Shooters Hill Lawn Tennis Club’s Christmas Tradition there will be a Boxing Day American. Details to follow this week. Come and join us and run off all the Christmas food.

The club has just heard that Sandi Procter the LTA president is our guest of honour at our club presentation on Saturday 24th February at Shooters Hill Golf Club. Please save the date and further information about booking will go out in the New Year.

WINTER TEAM RESULTS

There are no games over the festive period, the first games of the New Year start from the 7th January 2024

NORTH KENT

Mixed 2 lost to 3-1 to Bromley Wendover 3. The team playing were Neal & Libby Tuson and Tracy Davy & Rob Thomas. Thanks for the photo!

Men’s 3 drew against Beckenham 1 this week. the team playing were Iain Goosey, Sam Morgan, Ricardo Pinheiro & Jan Are Mo.

Ladies 1 lost to Sundridge Park 1. Maria the team Captain is super proud of the team, as the opposition had 2 Top Kent County Over 35’s playing and a Nadal Academy player, and our ladies made them work hard to take the win. Awesome work, Simone Korsgaard- Jensen, Natalie Ali, Maria Perfect and Karen Attard.

Men’s 1 lost at home to Bexley 1 in some very competitive games, it was close. The team playing were Viktor Petkov, Jack Rowland, Jan Are Mo and Francesco Donadio.

Men’s 5 drew against Old Wilsonians 2. The team playing were Aaron Ruby, Daren Clark, Tony Millard and James McKeown
