JUNIOR CHRISTMAS PARTY SATURDAY 16th DECEMBER

Exciting news Father Christmas is interrupting his busy schedule and will be coming to see the juniors this Saturday at the club. Parents will receive an email with timings and instructions for the day.  As this will be indoors, Father Christmas will visit whatever the weather. We hope to see as many juniors there as possible.

MAIDSTONE OPEN

Maria Perfect & Karen Attard are playing in the Maidstone Open again this year representing the club in the Ladies Vets. The first round was last week and the ladies won 6-1, 6-3. Congratulations Maria & Karen, good luck in the next round.

BOXING DAY AMERICAN

As is the Shooters Hill Lawn Tennis Club’s Christmas Tradition there will be a Boxing Day American. More details will follow in next weeks members e-mail.

WINTER TEAM RESULTS

Good Luck to all our teams this coming week, hope you all manage to stay dry as the weather is looking a bit dreary and wet this coming week.

NORTH KENT

Mid Week  60+ beat Sundridge Park 2 at Home 3-1. The team playing were Gregg Gadd & Hessam Khoshnevisan and Rob Thomas & John Fielding.

Mixed 1 drew 2-2 with Bromley Wendover 1 away. The team want to thank Karen Attard who was acting Captain. The team playing with Karen were Mark Plonka, Simone Jenson-Skorsgaard & Iain Goosey.

Men’s 4 lost to Old Wilsonians 1 at Home, 1-3 this week. The team playing were Alex Parkinson, Alex Todd, Abel Coolen & Jason Barkworth.

Ladies 2 beat Park Langley 3  at Home by 4.0 in crazy weather conditions and extremely high winds. The team playing were Marion Tourral-Hopkins, Ruthie Frost, Tracy Davy & Caroline Maponda.

Ladies 3 drew against Old Wilsonians 1 Away. The team playing were Alison Farrington, Jen Challis, Libby Tuson & Lorna Badham.

KENT

Men’s 2 vs Broadstairs 2 was postponed due to adverse weather conditions & will be re-arranged.

Mixed 1 v Canterbury postponed due to weather conditions.

Mixed 2 v DL Kingshill postponed due to weather conditions.
