We had the below  email from the Jack Petchey Foundation last week and have sent the club’s condolences to them.

“It is with great sadness that we inform you of the recent death of Sir Jack Petchey CBE, founder of the Jack Petchey Foundation. Sir Jack passed away peacefully in the early hours of this morning, Thursday 27 June. He will be greatly missed by friends, family and the many young people, teachers and leaders whose lives have been impacted by Sir Jack’s vision and the work of his Foundation.

We want to reassure you that the Jack Petchey Foundation, and all associated programmes including our Achievement Award Scheme and partnerships, will continue as Sir Jack’s living legacy. Please keep an eye on our email communications for all important updates and information regarding our programmes”.
