TEAM TRIALS DAY – THIS SUNDAY 28TH JANUARY

This Sunday is team trials day from 11am to 1pm. You can still book through the link in the news email, this will give us and the Team Captains an idea on numbers attending. The session is for anyone wishing to be considered to join one of the Summer League Teams for the 2024 season.

🏆 PRESENTATION EVENING – SATURDAY 24TH FEBRUARY 2024 🏆

The Club presentation evening is fast approaching and bookings are coming in at a steady rate, so don’t forget to book your place. It will be held Saturday 24th February at Shooters Hill Golf Club. Information was sent out last week on how to book your place and make you meal choices. So dust of those party shoes from Christmas and get ready for our biggest Social Event of the year. Not forgetting out guest of honour who will be giving out the Trophies, Sandi Procter LTA President, so make sure you have your camera’s ready to take some memorable photos! Deadline for booking your place is Friday 9th February. A junior presentation will also take place earlier in the evening.

❄ WINTER TEAM RESULTS

End of the Winter Season is fast approaching, just a few games left. Fingers crossed the weather warms up a little this week.

NORTH KENT

Mid Week Vets 1 drew at home against Sundridge Park 2, a very tight match. The team playing were Maria Perfect, Tony Millard, Ashling Carroll and Matthew Perfect

Mixed 2 vs Oakwood 3 won at home against Oakwood 4-0 to avoid relegation. Team were Ashling Carroll, Oksana Boklag, James McKeown and Rob Thomas

Men’s 3 vs Hayes 1 lost at  home to Hayes 1 3-1. Team was Ricardo Pinheiro, Jan Are Mo, Jason Barkworth and Abel Coolen

KENT

Mid Week 60+ Men’s lost 1-3 to a very strong Park Langley 2. Team Playing were Gregg Gadd & Jon Beaumont and John Fielding & Rob Thomas. Thanks for the photo gentlemen.

Men ‘s 1 beat Canterbury 2 at home 4-0. Canterbury could only play one pair, so we started 2-0 up, but still a good match. Team Playing were Rich Fay, Fin Renwick, Mark Plonka and Devanshu Jain.

Mixed 1 beat Knoll 2 at home, by 4 rubbers and 8 sets nothing. This is three wins out of three matches. The team playing were Simone Korsgaard – Jensen, Viktor Petkov, Oksana Boklag & Francesco Donadio.
