PRESENTATION EVENING
A great evening was had by all. First came the Juniors Presentation, then the Jack Petchey Award Winners and then of course the Adult Trophies. All presided over by John & Tom on the microphone, assisted by Caroline. Thank you to Adrian Packer our guest speaker for the evening, who presented the awards. A huge thank you to all those volunteering behind the scenes to make the Presentation Evening run smoothly. We had a very successful raffle this year, with some wonderful prizes, junior raffle winners from earlier in the evening, you will be informed this week and we will get your prize to you. The photos taken during the presentation will be on our face book page in a folder for you to download. Lastly Congratulations again to all our Award Winners, we are so very proud of you all.
JACK PETCHEY LEADER AWARD WINNER- JIM PUTMAN
Saying Thank You is so important, so what better way to say Thank You than surprise a very valued volunteer for all he does. Those of you who were there on Saturday evening know how Jim was very surprised by his award. We can’t thank you enough for all you do for our Juniors Jim, so this was in recognition of all the hours you spend at the club. Sir Jack Petchey CBE set up his Foundation to encourage young people to work hard and reach their full potential. He believed each and every young person should be given the chance to achieve. As he always said; “If you think you can, you can!” Jim, your help for our juniors puts this into practise just as Sir Jack wanted.
