🏆 PRESENTATION EVENING 🏆

A wonderful evening of celebration was had by all those who attended the presentation evening on Saturday. The evening started off with a junior presentation (hope you like the photo) followed by the adults who celebrated with a meal, speeches and trophy presentation by Sandi Proctor the LTA president.

Robert Ratcliffe receiving his Jack Petchey Leaders Award from Sandi Procter. This is given for someone who has encouraged and motivated young people in an exceptional way.

FEBRUARY AMERICAN TOURNAMENT

This proved a great success with a full house of 20 participants. Thanks to Jason Sigba for running the tournament on the night. The winners were Caroline Maponda with a 4 way split for the men, Jan Are Mo, Neal Tuson, Anthony Millard and Shaafiek Christian. Hope you like the photo

HOT WATER UPDATE

The plumber has visited and has now fixed the problem by installing a new water heater at the Club House, so plenty of hot water to wash up with now!

WINTER TEAM RESULTS & ROUND UP

KENT OVER 40’S TOURNAMENT

Maria Perfect and Karen Attard represented SHLTC in an O40’s round robin Kent Tournament held at Bromley Tennis Centre. They made it all the way to the finals but were pipped to the post in the finals. Amazing achievement ladies, well done.

NORTH KENT LADIES 2

Have WON their division this Winter Season and will now be playing off in the Final on Sunday 3rd March at home at 10.30am. Ruthie the Team Captain and her team would welcome any members who wishes to watch, cheer on and support them.

NORTH KENT MIXED 1

Have also won their Division and will be playing in the final on 23rd March. Congratulations to Francesco the Team Captain and his team. A Venue and start time are still to be confirmed, we will let you know when we have more details.

NORTH KENT

Men’s 1 beat David Lloyd Kings Hill by a grand total of one game after drawing 2-2 on rubbers. The team playing were Gregoire Lucas, Mylan Roberts, Fin Renwick & Joao Ribiero. This meant the opposition were stopped from winning the league.

TENNiSYS AND HEAD UK PRE LAUNCH TEST DAY

Matt & Maria Perfect kindly invited a few fellow SHLTC members to a pre test launch last week. Ashling, Arvin, Jo & Rob. Looks like everyone had a fun time.
