Andy Murray…….Well we all knew this day was coming, but to see Andy Murray retire last week was still a shock. An astonishing career, becoming the first British Player to have won Wimbledon since 1977. Then becoming the first man in history to have won the Olympic Gold twice, which is more amazing as one surface was grass and the other was a hard surface. He’s also the only man to win Olympic Gold and the US Open in the same year. His list of accolades goes on. I am sure the world of Tennis will miss him, but I am also sure it won’t be the last of Andy Murray that we see. We wish him well for the future and look forward to seeing what he does next.
