Well played to all members who represented the club over the weekend. A very successful weekend of results! Thanks also to our parents who supported our teams, especially the mini red team who got a special mention for being the most enthusiastic (loudest!) parents Bromley Tennis Centre has ever had!
Please note, there are 7 fixtures this weekend so please look at the website or the fixture list inside the clubhouse to check court availability.
Please also note, there is a North Kent Men’s 1 midweek match on Wednesday starting at 6.30pm. This will need 3 courts. Team Captain Luke will sort out the courts he wants for his team on the night. Sorry for any inconvenience caused with adult club play.
Club of the Year 2016 for London and the SE Region: How inspiring was the presentation on Saturday morning! It was great to see so many of you there to support the club in receiving the award. Stuart Smith was blown away by the number of players having lessons and the enthusiasm of all those connected with the club. I hope you like some of the photos.
Great British Tennis Weekend
A special mention to all those people who helped out on Sunday at our first Great British Tennis Weekend (GBTW). Over 30 juniors took part in free tennis activities and at least a dozen or more parents joined in during free play and experienced wheelchair tennis. The weather did not disappoint and the atmosphere was electric. New Head Chef Lee did a great job on the BBQ and I can announce the club has just invested in a new one for our next GBTW on Sunday 3rd July!
Many thanks,
Club Captain
Phil Layfield.
