HAPPY BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY EVERYONE

MIXED DOUBLES on Sunday was so well attended. Despite the weather being a little unkind in the middle of the day, we managed to play all the games in the schedule. Well done to everyone who took part. Thank you to our independent referee Graham Silvester for all his help and advice on playing schedules, rules etc. Thank you also to Jo Thomas and John Ratcliffe for helping with making the rolls and running the bar.

Main draw finalists were: Jack and Daisy Rowland v Ruthie Frost and Mark Plonka

Plate finalists were: Sandra Woodcock and Rob Thomas v Veronica McNamee v Tony Millard

A Memorial to Phil Smith was unveiled On Sunday, who was a well loved member of the Club. Thanks to Ron for taking the time to make such a thoughtful memorial.

MEMBERSHIPS:  Please remember, Juniors and Adults attending the coaching programme MUST be members. This is for insurance and safeguarding purposes. Remember membership is through our club website and NOT Club Spark. The username and password are NOTHING TO DO WITH CLUB SPARK OR THE LTA! If you have forgotten your username please email secretary@shltc.info There is a step by step guide to filling in your membership below.

Please remember it takes at least 24hrs to activate membership.

STEP BY STEP GUIDE TO RENEW YOUR MEMBERSHIP  1. Go to shootershilllawntennisclub.co.uk 2. Go to top right hand side of the screen to click on the menu, then choose ‘Memberships’ 3. On this page, all fee’s are explained as you scroll down the page. However at the top of the page, there are two Green ‘bars’. The first one is for NEW members, the second one is for EXISTING members. Click on the one relevant to you. 4. This page then lists all the membership types, click the ‘SELECT’ green button on the righthand side of the screen, next to the membership type right for you. 5. This page requires all your contact details. The RED box, gives you the payment details for BACS payments and cheque’s, but this happens before you submit the form, so please take a note of the details before you press the submit button.

Vets 2 played midweek against Wickham Park 2 and achieved a draw in a very tight game, well done to Sandra Woodcock, Libby Tuson, Dave Robertson & Damy Adejinle

NK Cup Men’s Doubles SHLTC beat Chislehurst LTC 6-1. 6-1 well done to Rob Ratcliffe & Mark Sisson

NK Cup Men’s Vets Doubles  SHLTC lost  Sundridge Park.  Well done to Matt Perfect and Tony Millard who fought hard against a very strong pair.

KENT

Men’s 1 lost to Canterbury 1, 4-0 in a tough game, well played Max S, Ricardo P, Jan Are Mo & Mark Sisson

Mixed 1 beat HSBC Beckenham this weekend in lovely weather. It was a 4-0 result, but was a much tougher game than the score reflects, well done to Diana Roberts, Iain Goosey, Maria Perfect & Francesco Donadio

On Wednesday 4th May we have the Mixed Doubles NK Cup match starting at 7.00pm at home.  Good luck to Di Roberts and Iain Goosey who will representing Shooters in that match.
