Summer Ball – Tickets now available!

Our Summer Ball takes place on 10th September this year. Included this year is a live band (the fantastic Oliver Twist), music, and a buffet. Tickets cost £25. Last year’s first ever Summer Ball was a great success, so this is another great opportunity for all people associated with the club to get together and celebrate another fantastic ‘Summer of Tennis’ at Shooters Hill Tennis Club. Our social secretary Phil Smith (see below for details) is the primary contact for purchasing tickets and answering any queries you might have but feel free to ask other Directors also in Phil’s absence.

Well done to all members who represented the club over the weekend.  Only 7 fixtures to go!

SHLTC Finals Day:  What a day!  I think it had to be up there with the best ever in terms of standard of tennis, atmosphere, selection of matches and the fact the junior finals took place for the first time ever on club finals day.  Thanks to all members, friends and family who came along to support the players on the day.  We really hope you had a fantastic day.  Without your support it would not be as special.  Thanks also to the Board of Directors and volunteers who made the day run so smoothly.  A special mention to John Ratcliffe who did a 12 hour shift behind the bar!  And didn’t run out of alcohol!

I hope you like all the photos Jason Attard took on the day.  Some lovely ones.  If you would like a copy, please get in touch with Jason.

See you all soon.
