ADULT PRESENTATION EVENING – SATURDAY 28TH FEBRUARY 2026

An invitation has been emailed to all members for this year’s presentation evening. As usual it will be held at Shooters Hill Golf Club, arrival at 7pm for a 7.30pm meal. Price per person is the same as last year £35.  The guest speaker is Ola Obaro an LTA Independent Councillor & Head of Strategic Projects of World Rugby. LAMP ON COURT 3

As many of you have noticed there is a lamp not working on court 3. The project manager for the transfer to LED lights is working with Greenwich Council to gain planning approval, as you are aware this is now always a quick process, so please bare with us. We are ready to go ahead with the change to LED as soon as planning permission has been obtained.

WINTER TEAM RESULTS

Phew, we got through the weekends matches with little or no rain! Not many more matches till the end of the Winter Season.

NORTH KENT

Ladies 1 beat Oakwood 1 at home on Sunday. The team playing were Maria Perfect, Olivia Flynn, Ros McKeown and Lauren Esler.
Men’s 5 lost to an extremely strong Park Sports Greenwich Team. Team Captain said it was one of the hardest Division 5 matches he had ever experienced. Team playing was Aaron Ruby, Paul Powell, Fred Moreau and Nakul Singh.

KENT

Men’s Vets lost 1-3 to Hayes at Home on Saturday. Team playing was Aaron Ruby, Neal Tuson, Rob Thomas and James McKeown.

Men’s 1 lost to Sevenoaks 1 Away on Sunday. The team playing was Rich Fay, Jason Barkworth, Jiggs Sahota and Nick Leach. Thanks to those who stepped in last minute to help out, much appreciated.
