QUIZ NIGHT This Friday – 8th May
Still time to enter this week’s Quiz Night. There will also be a Bake Off Competition and Wine Tasting. You can gather 5 friends to enter as a team of six at a cost of £12, or you can enter as an individual at £2, then you will be put into a team on the night. One member of each team can enter the Bake Off, so choose your baker wisely! Also on the evening you can take part in a Wine tasting at £4 per glass, payable on the night at the bar. There will be a variety of prizes during the evening too. We look forward to seeing all you there. The link to book will be attached to todays news email.
INTERNAL MIXED DOUBLES Sunday 3rd May
Considering the weather forecast we were very lucky and it was lovely and sunny with no rain. As you can see from the picture the club was very busy. There were some fantastic matches with some very close scores. Thanks to all who took part and to Graham Silvester the referee. We would particularly like to thank Molly Morgan who did a marvellous job running the cafe. Well done Molly.

Good Luck to Richard Fay who will be playing Sidcup Rec in the Singles of the NK Cup. The match will be today on Bank Holiday Monday at 4pm at Sidcup’s ground.
Men’s Vets Doubles
Dave Harrild and Mark Plonka will be playing Park Langley Away on Saturday 6th June at 10.30am.

LED LIGHTS ON COURTS 3-6 – UPDATE
This process is still ongoing and sadly has been postponed to early summer. We have now displayed the paperwork again regarding the planning as instructed by the Council. Fingers crossed we are edging towards good news we hope. We have now been advised by the lighting company that we are in the schedule for June/July, subject to final signing off by Greenwich’s planning department.

SUMMER TEAM RESULTS
NORTH KENT
Over 60’s Men lost to Hayes by 3-5 Away, in what were very windy conditions. The team playing were Chris Clegg, Greg Gadd, Mark Saunders and Rob Thomas. Thanks for the photo chaps.
Mid Week Vets 2 had a great 8-0 win against Bromley LTC 1 at Home. The team playing were Libby Tuson, Gail Youd, Richard Kershaw and Aaron Ruby.
Ladies 1 beat Sundridge Park 2 Away on Saturday. Well played Maria Perfect, Kate Hands, Ros McKeown and Oksana Boklag.
Men’s 1 had a tough day at the office loosing to Bexley 1 Away on Saturday. The team playing were Richard, Shannon D, Fin Renwick, Jason Ramsey, Jiggs Sahota and Tom G.
