JUNIOR CLUB PRESENTATION ON 22ND FEBRUARY 2025
Our Junior Presentation evening is held from 6pm – 6.45pm on the same day as the adults. The whole family is welcome to come along. Those receiving an award were e-mailed last week. CLUB PRESENTATION on 22nd FEBRUARY 2025
Details for the club presentation have been e-mailed out to all members, so please do check your emails if you intend to come along. Those receiving an award have also been e-mailed separately too. You will need to book your places, select your menu choices and of course pay! The link for booking is in the e-mail. On the form, when selecting your menu choices for each person, at the bottom in the box marked ‘OTHER’ please put the persons name to ensure we have the correct menu choices.
AMERICAN TOURNAMENT SUNDAY 2nd FEBRUARY
There will be an American Tournament on Sunday 2nd February 2.30 to 4.30pm. Members will be sent a link to book today.
TEAM RESULTS
Thankfully the weather has been a little kinder this week, so our teams have managed to play their matches.
NORTH KENT
Mid Week Vets 2 lost to Meopham 1 away on Wednesday, after a close fought match. The team playing were Dave Robertson, Libby Tuson, Richard Kershaw & Jo Thomas.
Ladies 2 beat a very strong Catford Wanderers 1 team, Away, 4-0. The team playing were Ros McKeown, Oksana Boklag, Charmaine Ooi and Lauren Esler. Thanks for the photo ladies.
Men’s 4 won 3-1 on Sunday away against Ladywell Fields 1. The team playing were Chibs Ejiegbu, Perry Rich, Jiggs Sahota and Jason Barkworth.
KENT
Mixed 2 lost 2-2 on rubbers but 4-5 on sets to Herne Bay 2 at Home. The team playing were Rob Thomas, Jo Thomas, James McKeown and Ros McKeown.
Mixed 1 lost 1-3 to a very strong Margate 1 team at Home on Saturday. Lots of close games, one championship tie break, all in all a very good days tennis. Team playing were Joao Ribiero, Charmaine Ooi, Oksana Boklag and Francesco Donadio. Welcome to the team Joao and Charmaine, this was their first match for the team.
Men’s 2 lost to Kemsing 2 Away. The team playing were Acting Captain Jack Andrews, Joao Ribeiro, Iain Goosey and Tim Morgan.
PRO RATA – JANUARY MEMBERSHIP
There are three months left of the Membership Year, so there is now a pro rata January rate, should you have friends and family members who wish to join. Its a great way to try out a membership for a few months, ahead of next years renewal on the 1st April. Please go to the website for details.
