Adult Results:
Kent Mixed 2 drew with Bromley LTC 2. Team comprised Rob Thomas (captain), Jo Thomas, James McKeown and Ros McKeown. Kent Ladies 1 postponed. The winter fixtures have been published and can be viewed on our website, as well as inside the clubhouse. Good luck to all captains and players over the coming months.
Men’s Doubles Final:
Congratulations to Dave Harrild & Dave McGonigle who beat Dan House & Matt Snow on Saturday night 5-7, 6-3, 6-2 in the rearranged men’s doubles main final. Although the weather was a bit dodgy, the tennis certainly wasn’t! It was nice to see a few members there to support the players. I hope you like the photo. Watch this space for news of the upcoming ladies doubles final.
MacMillan Cake Sale:
Well done to Susan Pitchford who held a marathon cake sale on Friday! Susan started off at home, before coming to the club in the evening to sell her delicious cakes, buns and ginger bread men! There was so much to choose from.
Thanks to all our members and friends of the club who supported the event. Over £90 was raised from the club donations alone.
