FALLING LEAVES

Goodness, all the leaves seem to be falling this last week. We are clearing them from the courts as fast as we can, but its almost a loosing battle at the moment, as one gust of wind and a whole heap more appear! So please bare with us. Brushes available in the club house if you need them.

The AGM is only a couple of weeks away, on the 27th November at 8pm at the Club. Please do attend if you can, an email invite has been sent out, we look forward to seeing you there.

Fingers crossed for less gloomy weather this coming week.

NORTH KENT

Mid Week Vets beat Sundridge Park 4 at Home, 7/1. Which means we are top of the league! The team playing were Perry Rich, Libby Tuson, Richard Kershaw & Jo Thomas. Welcome to Richard for making his first appearance for the Club.

Mid Week Vets 1 lost to Blackheath 1 at Home, after quite a battle. The team playing were Matthew Perfect, Karen Attard, Rob Thomas & Maria Perfect. Sadly I missed the match, but thank you for the left over cake!

Ladies 3 lost 1-3 to Catford Wanderers 2 Away. The team playing were Jo Thomas, Gail Youd, Sandra Woodcock & Stacey Yeh.

KENT

Ladies 1 won 4-0 against Sydenham 2 at Home last weekend. The team playing were Libby Tuson, Carol Young, Lauren Esler & Cate Woodcock. Thanks for the photo ladies.

JUNIORS

U10 Boys beat Sundridge Park 2-1. Playing were Arlen Jennings and Hadley Rowe

U14 Boys lost to Bromley Sports Club 0-3. Playing were Henry Higgins and Tom Clements

WALKING TENNIS‍ SESSIONS

Want to play tennis still but at a slower pace, recovering from injury or are you a complete beginner wanting a bit more time and practice in a supportive setting? Come and try Walking Tennis with us and bring a friend. It’s a slower game, where the ball can bounce twice, there is no jumping or running and you play with modified equipment.
