JUBILEE WEEKEND CELEBRATIONS Congratulations to our winners Carol Young and Abel Coolen of our Jubilee Weekend American Tournament. We hope everyone enjoyed the BBQ, we were so lucky in terms of the weather, well just in terms of no rain!! Hope you like the pictures, particularly our Royal visitor!!!!!

NEW INSTAGRAM PAGE thank you to everyone who is now following us, we’ve got more than 50 followers now. More news and updates to follow in the coming weeks. However if you want your team picture to feature on the website or Instagram you must have ticked ‘YES’ on your membership renewal form for allowing photos!

MEMBERSHIPS:  Please remember, Juniors and Adults attending the coaching programme MUST be members. This is for insurance and safeguarding purposes. Remember membership is through our club website and NOT Club Spark. The username and password are NOTHING TO DO WITH CLUB SPARK OR THE LTA! If you have forgotten your username please email secretary@shltc.info There is a step by step guide to filling in your membership below.

Please remember it takes at least 24hrs to activate membership.

NK CUP RESULTS 

Men’s Singles – Greg Lucas beat Paul Hyde from Sidcup Rec, 6-4, 6-3 in the Quarter finals this week, awesome result, well done Greg. We are awaiting the semi final details.
Mixed Doubles- Ruthie Frost & Iain Goosey sadly lost the Quarter Finals to Sundridge Park , well played to you both.
NK Cup  matches this week – Men’s Doubles V Blackheath home on Tuesday 7th June at 7.00pm. Good luck to Rob R and Richard F in this match
NK League Results
Mens 1 – drew with Sundridge Park 1, 3-3. Well played to Rob R, Greg L, Richard Fay, Jack Rowland, Max Saunders & Tom Warburton.
Mens 1 –  lost to Bromley LTC 1, 3-2 in a tight match. Team was Rob R, Richard Fay, Max Saunders, Oscar Brazys, Jan Are Mo & Jack Rowland. Well done to the team, especially to the two Juniors.
Men’s 2 – Lost to DL Dartford 1. Team were Jan Are Mo, Iain Goosey, Jack Andrews,  Ricardo Pinheiro, Abhisek Paul and Ozan Saridogan
Kent League Results
Mixed 1- lost to Bethersden by 2 games only. Team was Maria Perfect, Francesco Donadio, Diana Roberts and Tony Millard

All adult members will be sent links to social play, it is the same each week. If you need to cancel, please see below as you now can cancel yourself.  It is essential that if you book you turn up on time as these sessions are extremely popular amongst the members. Only members can book social.

BOX LEAGUES

Box leagues for the doubles have now started to finish the end of June. Singles are in progress and also finish the end of June but to be clarified.  Please could members try to play and complete their matches before then.

Any new members will now have to wait until the new leagues start

EASY FUNDRAISING: DO YOU SHOP ONLINE? DID YOU KNOW YOU CAN HELP US RAISE FUNDS!

Last month from our members online shopping we have raised over £30 which is amazing. The donations are starting to mount up & we are well on our way to purchasing some new seat cushions for the benches. There are lots of double points offers on this week, so do take a look if you are ordering online, especially  if you are booking a summer holiday, lots of the holiday companies are offering double points. We now have almost 50 people signed up to raise for our cause, so thank you for helping us fund raise as you do your shopping.
