CLUB HOUSE TOILETS

Thanks to everyone’s patience and understanding last week, we hope you agree the updates are looking great. Still a few things to do, install the new lino, toilet roll holders & rehang the ladies door so it opens outwards, but we hope you like the updates so far. Thank you to Frances for all of her hard work coordinating the work, keeping members informed and doing a great job of the painting in the heat last week.

AMERICAN TOURNMENT ON 22nd  JUNE

Phew, the hottest one so far this year, the temperatures were very hot for Sundays American. Well done to Penny Figgis and Steven Collins for being this months winners.

NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH

We have been informed by the local neighbourhood watch this week, that there has been a number of attempted house break ins in the surrounding streets to the club. There has been door cam footage provided by some residents and a police presence on a night or two last week. Apparently they think the  ‘suspected burglar’ ran through the tennis club and/or golf club to escape. So please do keep a look out and we can report anything to our contact at the neighbourhood watch or of course the police.
