🎾 JUNIOR COACHING PROGRAMME

With all the schools returning this week, don’t forgot the Junior Coaching programme begins its new term after the Christmas Holiday break. Tom and the coaching team are looking forward to welcoming the juniors back this week. If your not sure which level to book you child, please look at the coaching page as it explains the different levels and gives an approximation of ages for each level. TEAM TRIALS DAY – SUNDAY 28TH JANUARY

A team trials day has been scheduled for Sunday the 28th January from 11am to 1pm. Please put the date in your diary and if possible, book through the link in the news email, to give us and the Team Captains an idea on numbers. The session is for anyone wishing to be considered to join one of the Summer League Teams for the 2024 season.

🏆 PRESENTATION EVENING – SATURDAY 24TH FEBRUARY 2024 🏆

Our Club presentation evening is fast approaching. It will be held Saturday 24th February at Shooters Hill Golf Club. Information will be sent out this week on how to book your place and make you meal choices. So dust of those party shoes from Christmas and get ready for our biggest Social Event of the year. Not forgetting out guest of honour who will be giving out the Trophies, Sandi Procter, so make sure you have your camera’s ready to take some memorable photos! A junior presentation will also take place and details will follow.

WINTER TEAM RESULTS

Good Luck to all the teams who will be starting back with the rest of the Winter Season this week. Dont forget to wrap up warm, seems like we are expecting frosts and snow this coming week.

NORTH KENT

Men’s 3 played a very young and strong Bromley Sports Club 1 on Saturday. They fought hard, however lost 0-4. The team playing were Iain Goosey, Joao Riberio, Alex Todd & Jan Are Mo.

Men’s 5 played Ladywell Fields on Saturday and lost 0-4. The team playing was Tony Millard, Neal Tuson, Daren Clark & Aaron Ruby.

Men’s 4 played Beckenham on Sunday and lost 4-0. The team playing were Anupam Gehani, Perry Rich, Abel Coolen and Jason Barkworth.

Ladies 2 beat Hartley, 3-1. This result means the team have won the league, well done ladies, awesome news. The team playing today was Oksana Boklag, Gail Youd, Tracy Davy and Ruthie Frost. The cheer squad travelling to support the team on a chilly Sunday morning were Jo, Marion & Simon.

KENT

Men’s Vets narrowly lost 1-3 to Bromley Wendover 3. There were 3 championship tie-breaks, it was such a tight game and could have gone either way. The team playing were Francesco Donadio, Tony Millard, Rob Thomas & James McKewans.
